Our custom printed vinyl fabric is 56 inches wide and produced using direct UV digital printing. It is designed for interior applications and can be shipped throughout Canada and the United States.

This is flexible vinyl fabric intended for upholstery and fabrication—not adhesive sign vinyl, vehicle-wrap material or standard vinyl banner material.

What Is Custom Printed Vinyl Fabric?

Custom printed vinyl fabric is a flexible vinyl material that is digitally printed with artwork selected or supplied by the customer.

Unlike stock vinyl, which is manufactured in predetermined colours and textures, custom printed vinyl allows the entire appearance of the surface to be controlled.

UV Printing on Vinyl

Our custom vinyl is produced using direct UV digital printing—not dye sublimation.

Dye sublimation uses heat to transfer dye into polyester fibres. It is an excellent process for many of our printable fabrics, but vinyl requires a different printing method.

With UV printing, the ink is applied directly to the surface of the vinyl and cured using ultraviolet light. The ink cures immediately during printing, helping maintain sharp lines, controlled colour and fine image detail.

The UV in “UV printing” refers to the ultraviolet light used to cure the ink. It does not mean that the finished vinyl is rated for long-term exterior sun exposure.

Fire-code requirements can depend on the material, finished construction, installation method and jurisdiction. The applicable certificate should therefore be confirmed for the exact product and intended application.

Designed for Indoor Commercial Use

This custom printed vinyl is intended for indoor applications.

Although it is printed using UV technology, it does not currently carry an outdoor UV-resistance or lightfastness rating. It should not be specified for prolonged exterior sun exposure.

It is not recommended for:

Keeping the material within its intended indoor environment will help protect the appearance of the printed surface.

Durability and Care

The vinyl is designed as a very durable material for interior use. However, an official abrasion rating is not currently available and will be added once testing has been completed.

Until the complete technical testing is available, suitability should be reviewed according to the specific application and expected level of use.

4. Approve the Sample

Review the colour, print quality, pattern scale and overall appearance on the actual vinyl surface.

Any necessary artwork or colour adjustments can be made before the complete order.

5. Begin Production

Once the artwork, sample and project specifications are approved, the custom printed vinyl moves into production.
