When a stage curtain needs replacing, most venues don’t want a lesson — they want the right fabric, the right weight, and no surprises.
Equus Fabrics supplies IFR stage curtains and masking drapes to schools, churches, theatres, and multi-use venues in Surrey and the Lower Mainland, supporting projects that require reliable materials and clear specifications.
For most applications, venues choose IFR velour based on how the space is used:
16oz IFR Velour for schools and lighter-duty stages
23oz IFR Velour for churches and community theatres
25oz IFR Velour for larger stages needing stronger light and sound control
We regularly supply fabric for stage legs, borders, travellers, and backdrops, coordinating with local fabricators or installers where needed. Samples are shipped so fabrics can be reviewed in the actual space before anything is finalized.
All recommended fabrics are suitable for public assembly environments and meet fire-safety requirements. For clients comparing options, our IFR Velour fabrics and stage & masking materials pages outline common specifications clearly.
If your Surrey venue needs replacement stage curtains or masking drapes — without overcomplicating the process — we’re happy to help.
