Description

Aperture Silver is a wide-width open-weave sheer fabric created for projects where designers want transparency without the plain appearance of conventional voile.

Its structured mesh-like weave creates a visible architectural texture while maintaining an open, lightweight appearance. Light, illuminated surfaces and colours behind the material remain visible through the weave, making Aperture particularly effective for layered drapery and decorative installations.

At 116 inches / 295 cm wide, Aperture is well suited to large-scale commercial and event applications where wider fabric can help reduce seams.

The Silver colourway gives the fabric a clean contemporary appearance suited to corporate events, hospitality interiors, exhibitions, modern window treatments and stage or production décor.

Important Note: Is Aperture a Theatrical Scrim?

Aperture is an open-weave decorative sheer rather than a traditional sharkstooth theatrical scrim. It should not be specified where a production requires the controlled reveal/disappearance characteristics of sharkstooth scrim.

However, its highly open construction makes it useful for decorative transparency, layering and lighting effects.
