Description
Royal Commercial Contract Vinyl is a heavy-duty performance upholstery vinyl designed for demanding hospitality, contract, marine and institutional interiors.
Constructed with a 100% PVC face and 100% polyester backing, this vinyl combines a smooth, refined appearance with exceptional durability. Its controlled low-sheen finish gives seating and upholstered surfaces a clean, professional look without the high gloss associated with some traditional vinyls.
With a tested abrasion resistance of 1,500,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek), this collection is designed for high-use environments including restaurants, banquet seating, hospitality lounges, commercial furniture, public spaces, marine interiors and event applications.
The surface is designed for straightforward maintenance using mild soap and water-based cleaners. Comparable commercial vinyl systems are likewise commonly specified with water-based cleaning methods and polyester backing for hospitality, marine and contract upholstery.
This vinyl also offers strong lightfastness performance, tested to AATCC 16.3 Grade 4.0 after 1500 hours, helping maintain colour appearance in bright interior environments and areas exposed to indirect sunlight.
Fire-performance testing includes CAL TB 117-2013, NFPA 260 Class 1, MVSS 302 and IMO FTP Code 2010 Part 8, supporting use across a broad range of commercial, hospitality, transportation and marine projects where these standards are specified. Similar contract/marine vinyl products commonly publish these same fire-test categories individually so designers can verify project requirements.
The Blue/Royal colour is suitable for statement seating, coordinated commercial interiors, hospitality furniture and other applications where durability and colour consistency are equally important.
Samples are available through Equus Fabrics for designers, upholsterers, hospitality projects and commercial specifications.
